Experience

The choice of a restorer is a delicate issue because the profession is unregulated. This means without legal status or required state of qualification to work freelance. Yet, the use of inadequate materials or inappropriate methodologies can lead to irreversible damages, not always visible. Therefore, the final appearance of a restored art work is not a guarantee of quality. Graduated with Master's degree, I strictly respect the E.C.C.O (European Confederation of Conservators - Restorers Organisations) professional code of ethics.

Each art work is treated with an adapted methodology, taking notice of its history and esthetic appearance. The products and material utilized as well as their implementation aim at ensuring stability and reversibility. The restoration techniques are improving; I am constantly updating my skills through training and inter-disciplinary network.
