19th century oil paint on canvas
Front side with open tear
Law pressure lining table with lining canvas and glue film
The painting has been un-stretched, the tear mended and the paint losses filled up. It has been put on the lining canvas and the whole put under vacuum to insure the canvas flatness and warmed up to soften the glue which provides the adhesion

Back side after lining, during re-stretching on a new stretcher with special opening system in the corners (Tensori)
